Job Summary
This position requires the supervising, overseeing, and managing of projects on the job site. The Tree Crew Leader must be able to provide quality and consistency of product and service delivery. This role requires the individual to be self-motivated, constantly seeking to build strong relationships with customers, educate customers in Arbor care and at the same time address concerns, and be proactive in recognizing sales opportunities. The Tree Crew Leader is responsible for leading, guiding and directing a tree crew to complete projects safely and on time.
The Tree Crew leader reports to the Operations Manager, who reports to the Vice President of Operations. The Tree Crew Leader also supervises a tree crew team.

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. ISA certification is preferred. Must have 2 years+ experience as an Arboriculture professional. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Must be able to perform routine maintenance on related specialized equipment. Must be skilled in the operations of Arbor related equipment requires knowledge and experience that entails moderate difficulty of operation. Requires a high level of focus on safety. Responsible for operating specialized equipment safely and efficiently. Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and must meet company driving standards. Must have basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and communication skills. Must have the ability to work dutifully without constant supervision. Must be able to compose concise and persuasive verbal and written explanations of work performed and observations. Strong interpersonal people skills required. Must meet company drug screen requirements. Necessary characteristics include but are include but are not limited to, being friendly, professional, paying attention-to-detail, and taking pride in your work.
Essential Duties

    Identify and resolve client concerns in the field and defer all unresolved issues to management.

  • Must be able to drive a company vehicle safely and courteously.
  • Must stay compliant with all company and state/federal safety standards.
  • Must report any damage to equipment and/or vehicles due to accidents or negligence.
  • Property always maintain vehicles and equipment and kept clean.
  • Participate in training events such as seminars and other meetings.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new crew members
  • Perform various duties as assigned.

Must be able to work with all necessary tools and equipment. The ability to endure frequent extreme temperatures is required. Constant hearing, seeing, and mental awareness is required. Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, grasping, handling of small and large items and equipment, carrying tools, sitting while driving, pulling, pushing, lifting heavier items (over 30 pounds), hand-eye-coordination, gross motor coordination, and manual dexterity is required. Tree crew leaders work outdoors, with occasional contact with customers. They are exposed to all types of weather conditions. Work involves daily local travel, to current and potential projects. Job Summary Perform maintenance of lawns, landscapes and cleanups. Perform all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, line/string trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking, mulch installation and annual installation.   • Reportdamaged or broken equipment to management immediately.
  • Fill trucks, mowers, equipment, and cans with fuel in preparation for the next day (or as necessary)
  • Ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained properly according to the Grasshoppers maintenance & schedule

Job Summary This position requires the transport, handling, mixing and application of pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers to residential and commercial properties. The lawn technician must be able to manage an assigned pool of customers by providing quality and consistency of product and service delivery. This role requires the individual be self-motivated, constantly seeking to build strong relationships with customers, keep customers educated in regard to their lawn and ornamental problems, be able to come up with solutions to customers’ concerns, and be pro­ active in recognizing potential difficulties. The lawn technician reports to the Division Manager, who reports to the VP of Operations, and does not supervise any employees. Education, Experience and Skill Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and communication skills are a must. Technicians must have the ability to work dutifully without constant supervision. Must be able to compose concise and persuasive verbal and written explanations of work performed and observations.   • Demonstrate competence in identification, diagnosis, and treatment of insect, disease, weed and cultural issues associated with the normal cycle of turf grass and ornamentals in residential and commercial properties within a three-week training period.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service practices as defined by company standards.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts to existing and potential customers.
  • Establish and maintain potential and current client relationships.
  • Prepare paperwork to certify and maintain performed services.
  • Maintain account services through quality checks, service calls, and follow ups.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns in the field and defer all unresolved issues to management.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.

Job Summary This individual is responsible for servicing irrigation repairs, irrigation maintenances and irrigation installations. Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards. Must be able to speak, and communicate in English. Must meet company drug screen. Typical work week is Monday through Friday, but additional Saturday time may occasionally be required if necessary to finish all the work in any given month. Work is full-time, and five to six days per week.
